Derbyshire FA extends pitch maintenance partnership with Replay Maintenance

Derbyshire FA has extended its ongoing partnership with synthetic sports pitch maintenance specialists Replay Maintenance for a further three years.

As part of this exclusive partnership, Derbyshire FA and its members have access to a wealth of information and expert advice on the planning and implementation of a 3G (third generation) pitch maintenance programme.

This will help keep synthetic sports pitches in the county in tip top condition – providing some of the best quality sporting venues in the country.

A key element of the partnership is the opportunity to design bespoke in-house training courses, run in conjunction with Replay Maintenance, as well as exploring individual CPD training options for facility staff. Other benefits include free site surveys, reporting and competitively priced, bespoke maintenance packages on a variety of artificial sports surfaces.

Nick Harris, Managing Director of Replay Maintenance, which is based on the Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire border at Long Bennington, said: “We have enjoyed a positive working relationship with a number of county FAs over the last five years and in that time have shared new processes, advice and guidance to support those responsible for maintaining artificial surfaces.

“The growth of the partnership to once again include Derbyshire FA is testament to our dedication to raising awareness around, and the quality of, effective 3G pitch maintenance regimes. We look forward to supporting Derbyshire FA and sharing new developments with the grassroots clubs and organisations within its membership.”

Under the partnership, Derbyshire FA members can have access to Passport365 – an asset management tool developed by Replay that is revolutionising facilities management in the leisure industry and breaking down barriers for the grassroots game. The innovative sports facility management software has been created to optimise operations, strategy and performance of sports and leisure facilities.

All Derbyshire FA-based 3G Pitch owners, managers and operators will also benefit from the specialist services that Replay Maintenance offers, which include free pitch inspections and reports, discounted specialist annual maintenance contracts, emergency callout service, in-house maintenance training from a Grounds Management Association training provider, pitch repairs, infill top-ups, line marking, weed treatments and FA appeal works.

Ricky Stevenson CEO of Derbyshire FA, the governing body of football in Derbyshire, said: With the county’s stock of 3G pitches growing all the time, it’s crucial we help to ensure they’re being looked after effectively. We view our partnership with Replay Maintenance as a step in the right direction towards providing the best quality sporting venues in the country. We’re always keen to understand how we can develop and better the offer to our member clubs and associated organisations, Replay’s expert advice is invaluable.”
