Replay Maintenance Supports Glasgow Pupils at Careers Carousel
As part of its ongoing partnership with Glasgow City Council, Replay Maintenance was proud to support the recent S2 Careers Carousel at St Mungo’s Academy. The event, organised by Developing the Young Workforce as part of their Towards Better Futures initiative, aimed to give young people hands-on insight into a range of careers and employability skills.
Lewis Smalley and Tom Milton from Replay Maintenance spent the afternoon at the careers table, engaging directly with pupils and showcasing the variety of roles undertaken at the company. From sports surface maintenance technicians to operational and office-based positions, Lewis and Tom provided the pupils with an overview of the day-to-day tasks, skills, and opportunities available across the company.
The pupils were also able to explore the practical side of the work, asking questions and discovering the processes that help keep football pitches, hockey fields, tennis courts, athletics tracks, and other multi-use game areas safe, durable, and high performing. The interactive format of the Careers Carousel allowed everyone to rotate around the different employer tables, making it a lively and engaging experience.
Commenting on the event, Matt Bartle, Group Head of Commercial Strategy at Replay Group, said: “We’re thrilled to have been part of such an inspiring initiative and look forward to supporting more events that help young people explore their future career options.”
