Left unaddressed, every one of these issues turns your surface into a health and safety risk, and can quickly render a pitch or court unsafe for play.

The danger with surface damage is that it rarely stays still. A seam that has started to lift will keep peeling as players run over it. A small tear catches a stud or a foot and grows wider by the week. An uneven patch where the base has shifted becomes a trip hazard and a point where water collects and accelerates further deterioration. What begins as a minor, inexpensive fix can, if ignored, escalate into a major repair, a closed facility, or a claim against you which could rise to tens of thousands of pounds. Acting early is always the cheaper and safer choice
